Heard. The learned counsel for the Petitioner submits that as the Respondent has failed and neglected to comply with order dated 15.12.2015 passed by this court in the Writ Petition, they have filed the present Contempt Petition for taking appropriate action against the Respondents.

On the other hand learned AGP submits that, the issue involved in the present proceedings is u/s. 24(2) of the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013. He submits that said issue is pending before the Apex Court and the Apex Court has directed not to proceed with the matter by any High Court. Hence, it is not possible for them to comply with the said order.

19.182.17-cp.doc At this stage, the learned counsel for the Petitioner submits that in view of pendency of the matter before the Apex Court, the Petitioner may be permitted to withdraw the Contempt Petition with liberty to file appropriate petition afresh. To that effect he has given in writing. Same is taken on record and marked "X" for identification. Contempt Petition stands disposed of as withdrawn with liberty as prayed for. No order as to costs.
