At the outset, learned A.P.P. submitted that, the investigation of present crime qua the Applicants is completed and charge-sheet is also ready. However, due to Order dated 06.03.2020 passed by this Court, the same could not be filed.

Investigating Officer/Investigating Agency is permitted to file chargesheet. The same be filed within a period of one week without seeking extension in that behalf.

As the Investigating Agency is filing charge-sheet, the Applicants are having alternate remedy of filing an application for discharge as contemplated under the provisions of Criminal Procedure Code and/or to contest the said case.

In view of the above, by reserving the liberty of Applicants to file an application for discharge and/or to contest the said case, Applications are disposed off.
