IN THE HIGH COURT OF JUDICATURE AT BOMBAY

CRIMINAL APPELLATE JURISDICTION WRIT PETITION NO. 287 OF 2015 Dinesh Suresh Dabade ....Petitioner versus The State of Maharashtra and ors.

....Respondents Ms.Harjeet Kaur, advocate for the petitioner. CORAM : RANJIT MORE & ANUJA PRABHUDESSAI, JJ.

DATED : 10th APRIL, 2015.

P.C.:

By this petition, the petitioner is seeking limited relief that his appeal filed before the appellate authority viz. Home Department be directed to be disposed of expeditiously. Learned counsel for the petitioner, on instructions, submits that the said appeal is filed on 14th October, 2014 and is numbered as appeal No.13246 of 2014. 2.

In the above circumstances, in our considered opinion, this petition can conveniently be disposed of by directing the appellate authority to dispose of the petitioner's said appeal No.13246 of 2014 filed before the Home Department, if not already disposed of, expeditiously and preferably within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of this order. Ordered, accordingly.

3.

In the light of the above order, the petition stands disposed of. (ANUJA PRABHUDESSAI, J.) (RANJIT MORE, J.) Shubhada S Kadam 1/1
