Applicant was directed to be release on bail vide order dated 30th July, 2018 passed by this Court in Criminal Bail Application No. 1613 of 2018, on furnishing P.R. Bond of Rs.25,000/- with one or two solvent local sureties in the like amount. 2.

Learned counsel for the applicant submits that applicant being in custody has not been able to arrange local solvent surety. It is submitted that applicant has continued to be in custody inspite of bail granted to him by order dated 30th July, 2018. He further submitted that applicant is in custody since 27th February,

Sknair 504-appp-74-19.odt 2016. It is therefore prayed that for a temporary period, applicant be permitted to be released on cash bail security to enable him to arrange solvent local surety in accordance with order dated 30th July, 2018.

Considering the submissions, more particularly the fact that applicant is in custody for more than two years and inspite of grant of bail by order dated 30th July, 2018, he has continued to be in custody for want of furnishing surety.

ORDER

i.

Order dated 30th July, 2018 is modified to the extent that applicant is permitted to furnish cash security in the sum of Rs.25,000/- for a period of six weeks to enable him to furnish P.R. Bond of Rs.25,000/- with one or two solvent local sureties in the like amount as stipulated in order dated 30th July, 2018. ii.

Application stands disposed off.
