DATED : 3rd FEBRUARY, 2022 P.C:- By this Review Petition, the petitioner submits that Section 255(4) of the Maharashtra Land Revenue Code, 1966 provides that an Appeal should be decided within a period of one year and such one year is already over.

By the order dated 7/1/2022 passed by this Court by consent, respondent no.1 has been directed to decide the Tenancy Appeal as expeditiously as possible. By way of an outer limit, "30/4/2022" has been mentioned in paragraph no.3 of the order dated 7/1/2022.

2/2 9 RPW 4-22.doc The Review Petitioner prays that the order should be reviewed and only one month be granted to respondent no.1 to deliver the judgment as the matter is reserved for delivering judgment for more than 12 months.

It is thus obvious that respondent no.1 cannot be directed to deliver a judgment after reserving the matter for 12 months. He would have to once again hear the parties and then close the proceedings for delivering a judgment. In view of the above, I do not find any merit in the Review Petition and the same is therefore, disposed off. The parties to this litigation, shall bring this order to the notice of respondent no.1.
