1.
By this application, the aforesaid applicant has sought interim bail for six weeks in Crime No.390 of 2015, registered with Basna Police Station, Mahasamudhar, Chhatisgarh for offence under Section 420 of IPC. Heard learned counsel for the applicant and the learned APP for the State.
2.
The applicant is presently in custody in FIR No.83 of 2015 registered with Economic Offence Wing, Mumbai. The applicant has prayed for interim bail to obtain a copy of the FIR No.390 of 2015 and to engage an advocate to represent him in the said crime.
jsn ABA No.103_2016 3.
The grounds stated in the application are not sufficient to grant interim bail or transit bail. The copy of the FIR can very well be applied through the jail. The application reveals that the family members of the applicant are well aware of registration of the said crime and have been trying to engage a lawyer to represent and defend the applicant in the said crime. The applicant can also very well convey the name of the advocate of his choice to his family members.
4.
The application has no merits and is dismissed. ( ANUJA PRABHUDESSAI, J. )
