This petition is filed for issuing direction to respondent to register FIR. Mr. Saste, learned APP having taken instructions from officer who is present before the Court, makes a statement that the petitioner's complaint was looked into and an inquiry was conducted and the police have come to the conclusion that the dispute is civil in nature. He further submits that the petitioner is, accordingly, informed. Mr. Kadam does not dispute this fact.

In the above circumstances, the petitioner has an alternative remedy to file a private complaint. We, therefore, are not inclined to interfere in the petition. The writ petition, accordingly, stands dismissed. (ANUJA PRABHUDESSAI, J.) (RANJIT MORE, J.) Shubhada S Kadam 1/1
