This is an application filed under Section 438 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 for anticipatory bail. 2.
The applicant is apprehending his arrest in Crime No. 218 of 2022 registered at Baramati Police Station, Pune for the offences punishable under Section 328 of Indian Penal Code, Sections 65(e), 65(f) of the Maharashtra Prohibition Act, 1949, Sections 9, 15 of the Prevention of Damage to Public Property Act, 1984 and Sections 3, 4 of the Environment (Protection) Act, 1986.

I have heard the learned Counsel for the applicant and the learned APP for the State.

The allegations against the present applicant are of distilling illicit liquor.

The learned APP submits that the applicant is involved in two more crimes i.e. gambling and theft.

Considering over all facts and circumstances of the case, I am not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the present applicant. In the result, the following order is passed :
(i) Application is rejected.
