Rule. By consent rule is made returnable forthwith. 3.

The Petitioner had preferred an application for parole on the ground of illness of his mother. Said application came to be rejected. An appeal preferred by the Petitioner against the order of rejection was dismissed. Hence, this petition. 4.

The learned APP has produced the report of Superintendent of Nashik Road Central Prison. The said report states that as the punishment imposed on the Petitioner was Megha 1/2

2_wp_273_2014 reduced by High Court in Criminal Appeal No.911 of 2010 preferred by the Petitioner, the Petitioner has been released from prison. Said report is taken on record and marked 'x' for identification.

In view of the above, this petition is infructuous and hence, Rule is discharged.
