The learned counsel for the appellant states that after the writ petition filed by the respondent was allowed by the learned Single Judge by the order dated 13th & 20th December, 2007 that is appealed against in this intra court appeal, the appellant was again promoted to the post of head mistress and during the pendency of the appeal, the appellant was superannuated. It is stated in view of the superannuation of the appellant, the cause for filing the appeal may not survive and the issues would be purely academic.
