Having heard the learned counsel for the respective parties, we deem it convenient to dispose of this petition by directing respondent No.2-Scheduled Tribe Certificate Scrutiny Committee, Nashik Division, Nashik to decide the caste claim of the petitioner as expeditiously as possible and in any event within a period of six months from the date of receipt of this order. Ordered accordingly.

It is made clear that we have not gone through the merits of the matter and all points and contentions of the respective parties are expressly kept open. The caste claim of the petitioner shall be decided on its own merits in accordance with law.

In order to enable the respondent No.2 to comply with this 1/2

902wp336.doc order, the petitioner shall remain present before the respondent No.2Committee along with an authenticated copy of this order on 27th January 2020.
