This is an application for suspension of sentence and for releasing the applicant on bail.

2) The applicant is convicted under Section 25(1)(B)(a) of the Indian Arms Act and is sentenced to suffer Rigorous Imprisonment for one year and to pay a fine of Rs.300/-, in default of payment of fine to further suffer simple imprisonment for three months, by the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Solapur by its Judgment and order dated 23.7.2002 passed in Regular Criminal Case No.279/2000. The Criminal Appeal preferred by the applicant has been dismissed by the Sessions Judge, Solapur by its Judgment and order dated 3.12.2015.

3) The learned counsel for the applicant submitted that the

2 /2 APPR-38-16 applicant has already deposited the fine amount in the registry of the Trial Court. He further submitted that the applicant has surrendered his bail bonds on 3.12.2015, after the Appellate Court dismissed the appeal. The applicant has already under gone more than 3 and 1/2 months of the sentence out of one year of substantive sentence imposed upon him.

4) In view of the same, the substantive sentence imposed upon the applicant is hereby suspended during the pendency of the present revision application.

5) The applicant be released on bail on his furnishing PR bond of Rs.25,000/- with one or two local sureties in the like amount.

6) After his release from Jail the applicant shall attend the Mandrup Police Station, South Solapur on every first Monday of the month between 10.00 to 12.00 noon.
