DATE : MARCH 1, 2019 P.C.:- It is informed by learned counsel for the applicant, on instructions from the applicant, that Criminal Writ Petition No.676 of 2019 for quashing of F.I.R. No.848/2018 for offence punishable under sections 188, 272, 273, 328 of the Indian Penal Code and sections 26(2)(i), 26(2)(ii), 26(2)(iv), 27(3)(e), 30(2)(a) of the Food Safety and Standards Act, 2006 registered with Faujdar Chawadi police station, Solapur is already lodged. 2.

In the aforesaid backdrop, interim protection ordered

Having appreciated the submissions of learned counsel for the applicant, it can be noticed from the investigation that tobacco pan masala, etc. prohibited articles were seized from the custody of the applicant. That being so, no case for grant of prearrest bail is made out. As such the application is rejected. 4.

In the backdrop of the fact that the F.I.R. is now questioned in a writ petition before this Court, the interim protection is continued for a period of six weeks from today. (NITIN W. SAMBRE, J.)
