Applicant No. 1 - husband and Respondent No. 2 - Complainant are present with their respective counsel. They submit that they are residing together and jointly request for quashing of FIR.

We have perused the FIR which is essentially under Section 498A of the Indian Penal Code.

It appears that earlier, Memorandum of

APL 86-19.doc Understanding has been reached between the parties and it's copy forms part of Petition. Application opposing grant of bail as also domestic violence proceedings have been withdrawn by Respondent No. 2.

Today, an Affidavit has been handed over giving consent for quashing of FIR.

In view of these developments, we make rule absolute in terms of prayer clause (b). Mr. Gaud, Advocate is permitted to file his Vakalatnama for Respondent No. 2.
