Heard the learned counsel for the applicant and the learned APP for the State.

The applicant was ordered to be released on bail by this Court on 22nd December, 2023. Clause (b) of the order reads as under:- (b) "The applicant-Niraj Kumar Gupteshwarlal Srivastav in connection with C.R. No. 454 of 2022 registered with Aarey police station shall be released on bail on his furnishing P.R. Bond of Rs. 50,000/- with one or more local sureties in the like amount."

The learned counsel for the applicant submits that despite making efforts, the applicant has not been able to furnish local sureties. The applicant is a resident of Mumbai. The applicant be permitted to furnish solvent sureties instead of local sureties. Vishal Parekar ...1

As the applicant could not furnish bail for almost a month since the order dated 22nd December, 2023 and the solvent sureties would serve the purpose of securing the presence of the accused, I am inclined to allow the application.

Clause (b) of the order dated 22nd December, 2023 stands modified as under:- (b) The applicant-Niraj Kumar Gupteshwarlal Srivastav in connection with C.R. No. 454 of 2022 registered with Aarey police station shall be released on bail on his furnishing P.R. Bond of Rs. 50,000/- with one or more solvent sureties in the like amount.
