Heard learned counsel for the parties.

By this application, the applicant seeks the following substantive prayer:- "a. That this Hon'ble court be pleased to extend the time of 6 weeks for furnishing surety for due compliance of the judicial order and direction of this Hon'ble court dated 27.11.2020 passed in criminal application no. 602 of 2019 in criminal appeal no. 677 of 2020".

Perused the papers. Vide order dated 27th November 2020, this Court (Coram:- Prakash. D. Naik, J) suspended the applicant's sentence and enlarged the applicant on bail on his furnishing PR Bond in the sum of Rs. 25,000/- with one or more sureties in the like amount. The applicant was also permitted to furnish cash security in the sum of Rs. 25,000/- for a period of eight weeks in lieu of surety, amongst other conditions. 4.

It appears that the applicant has not been able to furnish surety as directed by this Court within the said period. It is not in dispute that the applicant has deposited cash security of Rs. 25,000/-. 5.

Accordingly, for the reasons set out in the application, the application is allowed and time is extended by a period of six weeks from today to enable the applicant to furnish surety in compliance of the order dated 27th November 2020 passed by this Court (Coram: Prakash. D. Naik, J) in criminal application no. 602 of 2019 in Criminal appeal no. 677 of 19. 6.

Application is disposed of on the aforesaid terms. 7.
