The C.R. is registered under the POCSO Act in the year 2016 and the Applicant came to be arrested on 26/11/2016. It is high time that the trial must commence and conclude keeping the time-frame set out in the special statute. Since the charge is framed, request is made to the Special Court, Dindoshi, Mumbai, to take up the trial preferably on day-to-day basis and conclude the same as expeditiously as possible and, in any case, within a period of one year from the date of framing of the charge. 4.

Learned counsel for the Applicant is satisfied with the aforesaid direction and expresses that he would withdraw the present bail application.

5.

The Bail Application is permitted to be withdrawn and is disposed of as such.

6.

If the trial is not concluded within the aforesaid period, the Applicant will be at liberty to renew his application for bail. [SMT. BHARATI DANGRE, J.] AJN
