It is conceded by Mr. Pathak, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner that the petitioner has an alternate and equally efficacious remedy of approaching the Central Administrative Tribunal by invoking section 14 of the Administrative Tribunals Act, 1985. It is conceded that the Staff Selection Board selects and appoints candidates on civil post under the Union. In these circumstances, accepting the preliminary objection of the respondents' advocate, we dispose of this writ petition on the ground that the petitioner has an alternate and equally efficacious remedy of approaching the tribunal.
