By this petition filed under Article 227 of the Constitution of India, the petitioner has impugned the order dated 5th January, 2018 passed by the Divisional Joint Registrar, Co-operative Societies, Mumbai Division, Mumbai insofar as the application for stay filed by the petitioner against the order of the Deputy Registrar, K/W - Ward, Mumbai is concerned. The Divisional Joint Registrar has admitted the Appeal No.229 of 2017.

Heard learned counsel appearing for the parties. There shall be ad-interim stay of the order dated 1st November, 2017 passed by the Deputy Registrar, Co-operative Societies, K/W - Ward, 1/2
916-wpl2588-18 Mumbai which was the subject matter of the said stay application, which came to be rejected by the Divisional Joint Registrar during the pendency of the Appeal No.229 of 2017.

Learned Divisional Joint Registrar shall dispose of the Appeal No.229 of 2017 expeditiously and shall make an endeavor to dispose of the said appeal within four months from the date of communication of this order. Learned Divisional Joint Registrar shall pass an order without being influenced by the observations made in the order dated 5th January, 2018 and on its own merits. 4.
The parties are directed to remain present before the Divisional Joint Registrar on 12th February, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. 5.
All the parties to act on the authenticated copy of this order.

The writ petition is disposed of in the aforesaid terms. No order as to costs.
