The petition is filed seeking a direction to the respondent no.1 to register First Information Report on the basis of the petitioner's complaint dated 4th August, 2015.

Learned APP, on instructions, makes a statement that the said
2/2 903-wp.369.2016.doc complaint of the petitioner was enquired into and it was found that the same does not disclose commission of a cognizable offence. The petitioner's complaint was accordingly disposed of. The petitioner is also communicated the said decision. The said statement is accepted. 4.
In the light of the above, relief claimed in the above petition does not survive. The petitioner, however, is at liberty to approach the Magistrate.

Needless to mention that we have not gone into the merits of the said matter and in the event the petitioner files a private complaint before the Magistrate, the same shall be disposed of independently and in accordance with law.
