This is an application for extension of two weeks to comply with the order dated 18.10.2022. The applicant has preferred Criminal Appeal No.667/2022, which is already admitted. The applicant was granted bail pending his appeal vide order dated 8.7.2022 passed by this Court (Coram: A.S. Gadkari, J.) in Interim Application No.2124/2022 in Criminal Appeal No.667/2022. applicant was directed to be released on furnishing PR bond in the sum of Rs.50,000/- with one or two sureties in the like amount.

The applicant preferred another Interim Application No.3536/2022 for some modification. That interim application was allowed and the applicant was permitted to furnish PR bond of Rs.25,000/- with one or two solvent local sureties in the like amount. By the same order, the applicant was permitted to furnish provisional cash bail for a period of twelve weeks from 18.10.2022. The applicant had furnished cash bail but has not furnished the surety within twelve weeks from 18.10.2022.

Heard Shri Priyal Sarda, learned counsel for the applicant and Smt. M.R. Tidke, learned APP for the respondent No.1-State.

Learned counsel for the applicant submits that the applicant's sureties are ready but since the period is over the trial Court did not permit the applicant to furnish the sureties.

Considering the earlier orders passed and in the interest of justice the period for furnishing the sureties is extended by further three weeks from today. Rest of the order dated 18.10.2022 passed in Interim Application No.3536/2022 in Criminal Appeal No.667/2022 is retained as it is. The application is disposed of accordingly. (SARANG V.
