DATED : 26th SEPTEMBER 2022 P.C:- The learned counsel Mr.Shirsat, on instructions of the Spl.P.P states that seven more witnesses are to be examined. He further states that the trial shall be concluded within a period of three months.

The submission is made by Mr.Khan by inviting my attention to the order dated 22/9/2022, where it is recorded that the Spl.P.P has given list of 10 witnesses.

Admittedly, there appear to be some discrepancy, but since Shri Shirsat is making a statement on specific instructions from the Spl.P.P, the prosecution shall now examine only 7 Tilak

2/2 55 BA 351-22.doc witnesses and the 42nd Sessions Court, shall conclude the NDPS Case No.0100156/2018 in any case on or before 31/12/2022. In any case, if the trial is not concluded, the applicant is at liberty to seek benefit of Section 436A of Cr.P.C by taking out appropriate application.
