1] On expressing my disinclination to entertain the application, particularly in the light of statement of the victim girl recorded under Section 164 of the Cr.P.C., the learned counsel for Applicant seeks permission to withdraw the application. He, however, submits that the Applicant came to be arrested on 22.01.2020 and more than three years have lapsed, but till date charge has not been framed. 2] In the aforesaid circumstances, permission is granted to withdraw the Application. However, I deem it appropriate to direct the Special Court seized of the trial in CR No.I-34/2020 to frame charge within a period of six months from today and to make every attempt to expeditiously conclude the proceedings.
