Learned Advocate representing Respondent Nos. 2 and 3 i.e Mira Bhayander Municipal Corporation states that in the event of the Petitioners filing a fresh proposal as directed in the letter dated 05.01.2022, within a period of two weeks from today, the same shall be decided by the Corporation within a period of eight weeks therefrom. The Corporation shall treat the said proposal as proposal filed in the year 2021 to ensure that the Petitioners are not deprived of the scheme of getting concession qua the payment of premium which was payable by 31.12.2021. 2.
In view of the above, the Petitioners shall file a fresh proposal within a period of two weeks from today and the Corporation shall decide the
21.as.wp.1032.22.doc same within a period of four weeks thereafter. On a request now being made by the learned Advocate for the Corporation, six weeks period is granted to decide the proposal. Needless to add that the proposal will be decided on merits. However, the statement made on behalf of the Corporation qua treating the fresh proposal as the proposal received prior to 31.12.2021 is accepted.

All contentions of the parties are kept open. 4.
