The Applicant is a Co-operative Society. The Applicant claims that a permission was granted to it to excavate sand upto the period ending September, 2014. The case in the Application is that in the bids invited to extract sands upto the period ending 30 th September, 2014, the Applicant was the highest bidder and he has paid certain amount. Even going by the averments made in the Civil Application, as of today, there is no subsisting right in the Applicant to excavate sand. Therefore, as of today, it is not necessary to entertain the intervention application of the Applicant. Application is accordingly disposed of. (A.K. MENON, J ) (A.S.OKA, J )
