Heard learned counsel for the parties.

By this application, the applicants seek extension of time for complying with the order dated 27th November 2020 passed by this Court (Coram : Prakash D. Naik, J.) whilst suspending the sentence and enlarging the applicants on bail.

19-IA-300-2021.doc Perused the papers. On 27th November 2020, the applicants' sentences were suspended and they were released on bail on executing PR Bond in the sum of Rs. 25,000/- each, with one or more sureties in the like amount. The applicants were permitted to furnish cash surety of Rs. 25,000/- each, for a period of 8 weeks in lieu of surety. Learned counsel submits that the applicants were unable to furnish surety due to the COVID pandemic, despite trying their best to arrange the sureties. He submits that the applicants have now got sureties, however, the eligibility of the sureties and verification of their solvency certificate is pending.

For the reasons aforesaid, the application is allowed and time to furnish sureties as directed by this Court vide order dated 27th November 2020 is extended for a period of 8 weeks from today. Application is disposed of accordingly.
