By this application, the applicant presses for prayer clause (b) in the application. Prayer clause (b) reads as under;

"b.) Kindly be Pleased to pass appropriate Orders for Expedite Hearing of the above referred Criminal Case

It appears that the complainant i.e respondent No.1 herein had filed a criminal complaint alleging an offence punishable under section 138 of the Negotiable Instrument Act, as against the applicant in 2014. It also appears that the said case is now pending before learned J.M.F.C at Rajgurunagar (Khed) in Pune District and is numbered as Criminal Case No.465 of 2016. Since, the case is instituted in 2014, it would be appropriate to direct expeditious disposal of the said Criminal Case i.e Criminal Case No.465 of 2016 pending in the Court of J.M.F.C at Rajgurunagar (Khed) in Pune District, in the interest of justice.

Application is accordingly allowed to the extent aforesaid and is disposed of.
