This is an application send by the applicant / appellant / accused from jail for passing suitable orders in the interest of justice by mentioning that his appeal is pending before this court and he has undergone major part of the sentence imposed upon him as he is behind bars from the date of his arrest i.e. 24th July 2011.

16-APPA-138-2017.doc It is seen from record that Shri R.A.Yadav, advocate was appointed at the cost of the State to represent the appellant / accused. He is absent.

Considering the fact that the appellant / accused is behind bars since his arrest on 24th July 2011 and as the trial court has imposed sentence of 7 years on him, his appeal deserves to be taken up for final hearing. Hence, Ms.Rohini Dandekar, the learned advocate on the panel of Legal Aid is appointed to represent the appellant / accused.

The application is disposed of with a direction that the appeal be heard immediately.
