The applicant had earlier approached this Court for his release on bail by filing Criminal Bail Application No.717/2019. The matter was heard and when I expressed my disinclination to grant relief, the then learned Counsel for the applicant had prayed for withdrawal of that application. Therefore, vide Order dated 24th September 2019 the application was allowed to be withdrawn. However, the Trial was expedited.

In the present application, the same prayer is made. After arguing for some time again, when I expressed my disinclination to grant relief, the learned Counsel for the applicant, on instructions, prays for unconditional withdrawal of this application but with a request that the directions be issued to the Manjusha

Since the prayer is made for withdrawal, I am permitting the learned Counsel for the applicant to withdraw this application unconditionally. However, as I had directed vide Order dated 24th September 2019 for the trial to be expedited and since the trial has not even commenced since then, the trial Court is directed to take up this matter for disposal as expeditiously as possible. The trial Court should make efforts to conclude the trial before end of December 2021.
