In fact this appeal was heard on 10/01/2024 and Court has also dictated the judgment in open Court on that date. The dictation was given as if the appeal was admitted for the offence punishable under Sections 498-A and Section 306 of the Indian Penal Code. In fact neither APP nor the counsel for Respondent has brought to the notice of the Court that in fact the appeal is admitted only for the offence punishable under Section 498-A of the Indian Penal Code as per Order dated 22/01/2015.
