Petitioner was appointed as a peon/attendant on 1st June, 1999 by the respondent/management. Admittedly, appointment of the petitioner was not against a sanctioned post and no procedure for her appointment was followed. 2.

The petitioner was appointed on consolidated pay of Rs.325/- per month. As against above, the claim of the petitioner is to confer permanency with appropriate pay-scale attached to the post of peon/attendant.

We see no right in the petitioner to lodge such claim with the respondent/State authorities. At the most, the petitioner can claim her right for appropriate pay from the BGP.

As such, the petition stands disposed of with directions to respondent Nos.6 and 7 with whom the petitioner shall produce copy of the petition with annexures within eight weeks from today and to take decision on the claim of the petitioner as expeditiously as possible and in any case within period of three months from the date of receipt of copy of the petition with annexures.
