In Crime No. 96 of 2018 for an offence punishable under Sections 307, 384, 143, 147, 148, 149, 506 & 427 of the Indian Penal Code, the Applicant is seeking pre-arrest bail. 2.

The case of the Applicant is of false implication in crime in question based on the Crime No. 97 of 2018 for an offence punishable under Sections 174, 148, 149, 506(2), 25(3) and 354 of the Indian Penal Code and the alleged non-payment of compensation to the farmers in the matter of laying down of the transmission line. The other co-accused i.e. brother of the Applicant is already arrested and released on regular bail.

The record shows that the victim suffered serious head injury and there are criminal antecedents also. There is sufficient material to prima facie infer the involvement of the Applicant in the crime in question which warrants custodial interrogation.

As such, there is no substance in the present Application. Hence rejected.
