The petitioner, who is in jail, has sent this petition through jail, praying for remission of sentence.

The learned APP has placed on record a communication received from the Superintendent, Kolhapur Central Jail, Kalamba, Kolhapur stating that the petitioner has already been released from the jail on 29th July 2019 upon completion of 26 years including remission. The said communication is taken on record.

In the light of above, the present petition is rendered infructuous, the writ petition is disposed of.
