The prayer made in this application under section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure,1973 is for quashing the proceedings of the criminal case on the basis of the FIR registered with NRI Sagari Police Station, Navi Mumbai alleging commission of offence under section 66-A of the Information Technology Act,2000. The Apex Court by Judgment and Order dated 24th March 2015 in Writ Petition (Cri.) No.167 of 2012 (Shreya Singhal vs Union of India) has struck down the section 66A of the Information Technology Act,2000 in its entirety. Apart from this, the learned APP states that `C' Summary report has been already filed and the cases have been disposed of.

apl127 Hence, nothing survives in this application and the same is disposed of.
