Having heard learned Counsel appearing for the respective parties, in our considered opinion, this petition can conveniently be disposed of by directing the appellate authority, namely, Respondent No.1 to dispose of the Petitioner's appeal, being Appeal No.100 of 2014, filed under section 60 of the Maharashtra Police Act copy of which at Exhibit-A to the petition as expeditiously as possible and at any rate within the period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Ordered accordingly. 2.

This Court has not gone into merits of the matter and all points and contentions of the respective parties are kept open.
