By this Petition, the petitioner seeks quashing and setting aside of the FIR, registered vide C.R. No.306 of 2021 with the Panvel Taluka Police Station, Navi Mumbai, for the alleged offences punishable under Sections 307, 323, 504, 506 and 120B of the Indian Penal Code and under the provisions of SC&ST Act. Learned APP has tendered a report dated 7th February, 2023 of Shri. Dhanaji Kshirsagar, ACP, Panvel Division, Navi Mumbai. In the said report, it is stated that the police intend to file "169 REKHA PRAKASH PATIL Report" within three weeks, as against the petitioner.
