Heard the learned counsels for respective parties. The petitioner is challenging the notices dated 20th January 2017 and 31st January 2017 issued by the respondent to National Spot Exchange Limited (NSEL). Subsequent to these notices, a Notification dated 21st September 2016 was issued and that notification was challenged by the petitioner by filing separate writ petition (Original Side) bearing No.508 of 2017. The said writ petition has disposed of by the judgment and order Shraddha Talekar PS

928.1 WP-405-2017.doc 2/2 dated 22nd August 2019 and we have quashed the notification under section 4 of the Maharashtra Protection of Interests of Depositors in Financial Establishments Act, 1999 (MPID Act). The notices impugned in the instant petition being precursor to the said notification dated 21st September 2016, therefore, also required to be quashed and set aside and the same are hereby quashed and set aside. The petition is made absolute in terms of prayer clause (a) and accordingly stands disposed of.
