Applicant was granted bail by the Sessions Court in C.R. No. 320 of 2018 by order dated 21st January, 2019. The applicant was directed to be released on bail on executing P.B. and S.B of Rs.50,000/- with one solvent surety in the like amount. Learned counsel for the applicant submits that applicant is resident of Goa and he could not arrange surety in accordance with order dated 21st January, 2019. Applicant had preferred an application before the Sessions Court for modification of the aforesaid order seeking provisional cash surety for a period of six weeks which was rejected on the same day i.e 21st January, 2019. Applicant is in
Sknair 501-appln-54-19.odt custody from 29th August, 2018. Bail was granted to him on 21st January, 2019 and he has continued to be in custody for want of surety. Therefore, applicant seeks provisional cash surety for a temporary period of six weeks Considering the aforesaid circumstances, I pass the following order.
ORDER
i.
In accordance with order dated 21st January, 2019 passed by the Sessions Court in Bail Application No. 50 of 2019 in CR No. 320 of 2018, applicant is permitted to furnish provisional cash security in the sum of Rs.50,000/- for a period of six weeks. However, during the aforesaid period, applicant shall attend Amboli Police Station once in a week on Saturday between 10 a.m. to 12 noon.

Application stands disposed off.
