By the present Petition, the Petitioner has prayed that the Trial Court may be directed to frame charge and complete his trial within six months, arising out of CR No.253 of 2017 registered with Sakinaka Police Station, Mumbai and culminated into Sessions Special Case No. 287 of 2017. 2.

Learned A.P.P., on instructions in writing from Sakinaka Police Station, submitted that, in the said Sessions Special Case No. 287 of 2017, charge has already been framed and the prosecution is intending to examine about 15 witnesses. That, the next date of said case is scheduled for recording evidence on 23rd November 2022. The said communication dated 8th November 2022 is taken on record. In view thereof, we direct the learned Additional Sessions Judge / Special Court at Dindoshi seized of Sessions Special Case No.287 of 2017 arising out of CR No. 253 of 2017 under Sections 376(2)(I) read with Sections 4, 6, 7, 8 of The Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act (POCSO) to expedite the hearing of the case and to conclude it within a period of one year from the date of receipt of the present Order. 4.

Petition is allowed in the aforesaid terms.
