The dispute is settled. The original Award was for Rs. 5,48,500/-, say Rs. 5,50,000/-. It carried interest at the rate of 7.5% from 2004. The Appellant deposited an amount of Rs. 7,95,000/- in 2010. The Respondent was allowed to withdraw and did actually withdraw an amount of Rs. 1,25,000/- in that year. The balance was Rs. 6,70,000/-. On a rough and ready estimate, the accumulated interest on the balance would be approximately Rs. 3,50,000/-.

The parties agree that the Respondent may withdraw the principal amount of Rs. 6,70,000/- while the Appellant 8th April 2017

5-FA1399-10.DOC will be entitled to receive the entire accumulated interest of approximately Rs. 3,50,000/- (i.e., actual interest accumulated whether higher or lower than this figure). 3.

The matter is compromised on this basis. The parties have signed the consent forms which are taken on record and marked 'X' identification. The matter is disposed of in these terms.
