The petitioner had filed this petition praying for disqualification of respondent Nos. 5 to 10 herein in Niphad Nagar Panchayat. The said application was filed by Petitioners on 21.11.2015.

It is expected that when such applications are filed before Collector, the Collector ought to have disposed of the same at the earliest. The delay in disposal of these application would be defeating statutory provisions of law.

We direct the Collector to dispose of the petitions after hearing the necessary parties and by following principles of natural justice within eight weeks from today. Needless to mention that the Collector would pass reasoned order. We are not expressed any opinion on merits.

The Writ Petition stands disposed of.
