Mr. Mehta, the learned advocate for the petitioner states that the dispute between the parties giving rise to proceedings under Section 138 of Negotiable Instruments Act has since been settled. He tenders affidavit of respondent no.1 the original complainant. The affidavit is taken on record. In view of the settlement of the dispute the petition is allowed in terms of prayer clause (b). In view thereof the petitioner be released forthwith if no required in any other proceedings. 3.
