The Petitioners have challenged the notice of disconnection of electricity dated 4th February, 2017. The notice itself states that the electricity supply shall not be disconnected for a period of 15 days. 2.

The learned counsel appearing on behalf of the Petitioners submits that Petitioner No.1 will challenge both the orders; firstly, the order of disconnection as well as the impugned order dated 24th August, 2003 by making a representation to the Electricity Ombudsman (Mumbai) under the provisions of Section 42(6) of the Electricity Act, 2003.

In view of this statement, the writ petition is disposed of. Reserving a right of the Petitioner No.1 to make a representation to the Ombudsman. Petitioner No.1 shall make a representation within two weeks. The electricity supply shall not be disconnected for a period of four weeks.
