DATE :

15th FEBRUARY 2017.

P.C. :

This is an application for condonation of delay of 18 days in filing an appeal challenging the conviction and sentence imposed upon the applicant by the learned trial court. Heard both sides. It is seen that the applicant / accused is convicted of offences punishable under Section 372 avk 1/2

14-APPA-152-2017.doc read with Section 34 of the IPC, apart from offences punishable under Sections 4 and 5 of the Immoral Traffic (Prevention) Act. The applicant desires to challenge that judgment and order by filing an appeal and the delay caused is only of 18 days. That is sufficiently explained in the pleadings in the application. Hence, for the stated reasons, the delay is condoned. The application stands disposed of accordingly. (A. M. BADAR, J.) avk 2/2
