Heard the learned Counsel for the applicant and the learned APP.

The learned Counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has filed application before the learned Metropolitan Magistrate, 29th Court, Dadar, Mumbai seeking necessary orders for renewal of passport. It was brought to the notice of the learned Magistrate that the proceedings have been stayed by the Hon'ble High Talwalkar 1/2

44.appw50.16.sxw Court vide order dated 8/12/2011 in Criminal Writ Petition No. 2029 of 2011 and therefore, the learned Magistrate had expressed his inability to decide the application unless specifically directed by the Hon'ble High Court. The petitioner herein is seeking direction to the Magistrate for deciding the said application. Hence, following order is passed.

(i) The learned Metropolitan Magistrate, 29th Court, Dadar, Mumbai shall decide the application dated 14/7/2015 expeditiously and in accordance with law.

In view of this, the application is hereby allowed and disposed of accordingly.
