DATE : 23.01.2015 P.C.:- By this Petition, the Petitioner seeks a direction to the Respondents to grant approval to the extension of the age of retirement of the Petitioner till 65 years. The Petitioner has also challenged Condition No.11 (5) in the Government Resolution dated 5.3.2011.

It appears that during the pendency of the writ petition, the proposal that was forwarded to the State Government, with the approval of the University has been considered by the State Government favourably and the retirement age of the Petitioner has been extended from 62 years to 65 years. Since the proposal for extension of the retirement age 1/2

dgm 2 907-wp-2365-14.sxw of the Petitioner is approved by the order of the State Government dated 21.1.2015, the learned counsel for the Petitioner states that the grievance of the Petitioner stands redressed.

In view of the aforesaid, the writ petition is disposed of with no order as to costs.
