On instructions, learned AGP submits that the Caste Scrutiny Committee had called for a report from the Vigilance Cell, Nasik. Before a decision could be taken, it was revealed that Vigilance Cell report from Amravati was necessary and, therefore, further report was called. The said report is not received by the Committee so far. The entire record has been transferred to the Committee at Amravati in Amravati Division. Learned AGP submits that the Scrutiny Committee will decide the caste claim of the petitioner after receiving the report from the Vigilance Cell at Amravati.

Writ petition was filed in the year 2013. Learned counsel submits that the petitioner has visited the office of Caste Scrutiny Committee several times. 4.

Learned AGP, on instructions, submits that within two months petitioner's caste claim will be decided on its own merits. We direct the Committee accordingly to decide petitioner's caste claim on its own merits. Petition is disposed of.
