21-WP-468-2015.doc He, however, states that, appropriate directions be given to the trial court to hold the trial expeditiously, as the matter is pending before the trial court since the year 1993. This seems to be reasonable.
The petition is allowed to be withdrawn and stands dismissed as such.
The trial court shall expedite the trial and endeavour to complete it within a period of six months from the date of receipt of this order.
