The applicant, an octogenarian, was admitted to interim protection under the orders of this Court on 28/03/2022, by recording a prima facie case in his favour. He was directed to report to the police station and co-operate with the Investigating Offcer.

The learned A.P.P. does not dispute that the applicant has abided by the said condition imposed on him while releasing him on interim bail in anticipation of his arrest and on M.M.Salgaonkar

2/2 11 ABA-312-22.doc instructions from the Investigating Offcer, she makes a statement that the custodial interrogation of the applicant is not warranted in the wake of the accusations faced by him and, since, he has rendered his co-operation in investigation. 2.

By accepting the said statement, the order dated 28/03/2022 is made absolute, subject to the stipulation that the applicant shall continue to render his co-operation in the investigation.
