The applicant is seeking regular bail in Crime No. 1269 of 2020, registered with Malwani Police Station, for the offence punishable under Section 354 of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 8 and 12 of Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, 2012. 2.

The applicant was arrested on 17th August, 2020. The maximum punishment provided is around six years. The applicant is already charge-sheeted.

Considering the nature of allegations against the applicant and the fact that the applicant has already charge-sheeted, a case for grant of bail is made out. Hence, the application is allowed on following terms and conditions :

O R D E R

(i) The applicant is released on bail in Crime No. 1269 of 2020, registered with Malwani Police Station, for the offence punishable under Section 354 of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 8 and 12 of Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, 2012, on furnishing P.R. bond in the sum of Rs.15,000/- with one or more sureties in the like amount.

(ii) The applicant shall neither influence the prosecution witnesses in any manner nor tamper with the evidence. (iii) Two consecutive defaults on the part of the applicant in attending the trial will entail the prosecution to proceed with cancellation of the bail.
